A .60 D.B. PERCUSSION SPORTING GUN

Converted from flintlock, the barrels stamped 'Massadier Tordu' on the underside, engraved flat locks (minor pitting) each with vacant gold oval (originally engraved with maker's signature), carved figured walnut half-stock (cracked below the left lock) with a carved boar's head behind the grip, chequered grip and fore-end, and carved cheek-piece, engraved iron mounts including trigger-guard with urn finial and a demi-angel chiselled in high relief on the front of the bow, silver ramrod-pipes, and later ramrod
