A Japanese ivory netsuke of a crab
18th and 19th Century
carved with the crab partially out of a shell on top of a further shell, the crab with inset eyes -- 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) wide; another ivory netsuke of a recumbent dog playing with a ball -- 1 1/8in. (2.8cm.) high; and a wood netsuke of a man holding a censer on his head, standing in front of a table with a paint brush in his hand -- 2 1/8in. (5.4cm.) high, (minor wear).
