Meiji Period
carved and detailed from a sphere, incised signature to underside -- 2in. (5cm.) diam., wood stand, (age cracks, small chips to three fish tails); and an ivory okimono of seven immortals seated and standing with a circular coracle above foaming waves, incised signature to underside -- 2 5/8in. (6.5cm.) diam., wooden stand, (red painted side of boat, small plug hole to side of boat, minor age cracks).
