Early 18th Century
With rounded sides and flaring rim, painted in underglaze-blue to the centre with a karashishi on a lotus leaf amongst flaming pearls, the sides moulded and painted in iron-red and gilt with leaf-shaped panels of lotus sprays on trailing foliate grounds, the rim with a band of ruyi heads, the exterior with sprays of lillies in a garden and blossoming prunus branches, restored rim chips, hairline rim crack
