A large Sèvres style dark-blue ground two-handled oviform vase and cover
Circa 1860
The ring and scroll handles issuing acanthus and suspending berried laurels above beaded horizontal straps, the fluted neck with husk ornament, the oviform body painted with putti in a landscape within a quatrefoil cartouche, the ground gilt with a caillouté pattern, the lower part moulded with acanthus, the spreading foot supported by a gilt metal square section base (damages and wear)
