The main panel with a combat between Herakles and an Amazon, the hero striding to the right, grabbing her with his left hand and wielding his knobby club with his right, depicted wearing his Nemean lionskin over a short chiton, his sword hanging from a baldric over his left shoulder, the Amazon kneeling to the right but looking back towards Herakles, wearing a short chiton and high-crested helmet, carrying a spear in her left hand and a Boeotian shield with two serpents as the blazon; vines in the field, the scene framed with a dotted border on either side, vertical lines and net-pattern above, details in added red and white
