A ewer from this service is illustrated in colour by Hervouët and Bruneau, La Porcelaine des Compagnies des Indes à Décor Occidental, Paris, 1986, p. 185, fig. 8.7, where the authors inform us that this scene is taken from an engraving by C. N. Cochin after a painting by Watteau.
