A George II Silver Double Tea Caddy
Apparently unmarked, circa 1750
the hinged cover of the oblong caddy engraved with foliate scroll and shell motifs and with two cartouches, one engraved with a crest, the other with a coat-of-arms, with a shell and leaf decorated handle, the inside with a central partition, engraved underneath with the scratchweight 33=0 - 13cm. (5 1/8in.) wide, 33oz. (1040gr.)
