Mark of Langlands & Goodriche, Newcastle, 1754
the slightly tapering circular section tankard with a central band and a spreading base, the domed cover with a scroll thumbpiece, the S scroll handle with a shell terminal engraved with initials, later engraved with a crest and motto, marked near rim, on top of cover and handle - 17.5cm. (7in.) high, 23.5oz. (730gr.)
