The first Indo-Persian, entirely of steel, with watered double-edged blade with a panel of silver-damascened decoration on each side of the forte, the hilt and scabbard with silver-damascened decoration en suite; the second and third North African, each with curved fullered blade, the hilts and scabbards each mounted in white-metal and inlaid en cage with coloured bone and compound panels; the last with curved single-edged blade, and silver-mounted hilt formed of sections of agate and with a large oval labradorite on one side of the pommel, in agate-set scabbard en suite with the hilt
