With tapering flattened blade, each side with a running wolf mark and three fullers at the forte, the central one struck 'Andrea Ferara', iron guard of rectangular bars involving panels pierced with hearts and circles, fluted pommel, and spirally fluted wire-bound leather-covered grip, the rear quillon stamped with a capital 'M'
