With blued octagonal barrel cut with five grooves and engraved 'Turners Patent', associated military back-sight calibrated to 1,300 yards, scroll engraved case-hardened patent breech and tang (nipple replaced), border engraved case-hardened detented lock signed in full (hammer repaired), figured walnut half-stock with chequered pistol-grip and fore-end (minor bruising), the grip with a later peep-sight fitting, steel mounts including circular patch-box cover engraved with a tiger, scroll engraved serial numbered trigger-guard, trigger-plate with pineapple finial, horn fore-end cap (chipped), original wooden ramrod, and some original finish, Birmingham proof marks
