With rebrowned twist barrels, patent breeches with pierced platinum plugs and one platinum and one gold line at the centre, scroll engraved tang, signed scroll engraved locks (one hammer repaired, the other replaced), walnut half-stock, chequered grip, iron mounts including trigger-plate with pineapple finial, silver escutcheon, and later brass-tipped ramrod (in worn condition throughout, iron parts with surface pitting), Birmingham proof marks
