A BRACE OF 13-BORE FLINTLOCK CAVALRY PISTOLS OF PRUSSIAN TYPE
Late 18th Century
With shortened sighted barrels, flat bevelled locks each engraved with 'GR' crowned, and with 'Tower' on the stepped tail, later (?) blackened full stocks, regulation brass mounts, differing spurred pommels, and iron ramrods (one pistol lacking its pommel-cap and with broken trigger-guard, the other pistol lacking one side-nail, iron parts rust-patinated throughout)
