A 16-BORE TURKISH FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL
Late 18th Century
With swamped barrel chiselled in relief with foliated scrollwork at the breech, scroll engraved flat bevelled lock, carved walnut full stock (chipped and cracked), cast and chased brass mounts decorated in relief with masks and scrollwork, pierced side-plate and escutcheon, spurred pommel with grotesque mask cap, horn fore-end cap, and short wooden ramrod (forward ramrod-pipe missing)
