Manuscript on paper, 305ff. with 15ll. of black naskh, gold rosettes between verses, text outlined with gold, sura headings in white on gold illuminated panels, opening illuminated bifolium, illuminated marginal medallions marking juz divisions, final folio with colophon recording the completion of the Qur'an at the end of Sha'ban 1115 and signed by the scribe 'Abdallah known as the pupil of al-Hajj Abi Bakr Rashid Efendi, illuminated with floral panel, followed by two folios of prayers, original maroon morocco binding with flap with finely painted red and gold floral designs
