NEW KINGDOM (1550-1070 B.C.)
With Anubis over the Nine Bound Prisoners, 1 in. (2.5 cm.) high; a steatite plaque, the obverse with Men-kheper-ra cartouche (Tuthmosis III), the reverse with a phallic man standing on a crocodile, circa 1386-1349 B.C., ¾ in. (1.9 cm.) high; a glazed steatite hippopotamus seal, the reverse with Sutekh; a glazed steatite cylindrical bead with four crocodiles, 7/8 in. (2.3 cm.) long, both New Kingdom; a turquoise glazed composition stamp seal with double papyrus handle, the reverse with man standing over a building sign, enclosing Neith symbol, New Kingdom, Ramesside, circa 1300-1000 B.C., 1¼ in. (3.2 cm.) high; a steatite Hathor seal rectangular plaque, bearing on the obverse a cow-eared bust of Hathor, the reverse carved with hieroglyphs reading: "The servant of the Two Ladies, beloved of the people, Dw-tem", Saite Period, circa 6th Century B.C., 1 x ¾ in. (2.5 x 2 cm.); a blue glass scarab inlay, circa 4th-1st Century B.C., 1 in. (2.5 cm.) long; and eight decorated cylinder seals and beads, comprising two steatite with geometric motifs; blue faience; steatite, two rows of good luck signs, nefer, ankh, wadj, kheper; horned animals looking back between dotted spirals; Master of Animals; green faience snake, scorpion, lizard; blue faience bead, Tueris on either side of ankh-sign; and a pierced bone cylinder, 2nd millennium B.C. or later (16)
