TWO COPTIC CREAM PAINTED POTTERY OFFERING VESSELS
CIRCA 4TH-6TH CENTURY A.D.
One with waisted body, the broad sloping shoulder with a red and black painted fish on either side, a broad red band below and remains of a lower row of black dots, twin loop handles, neck missing; the other jar similar, frieze of birds around the shoulder with outlined guilloche pattern below, band of dots around lower body, restored rim
