A PAIR OF ROMAN GOLD, CORNELIAN AND GARNET EARRINGS
3RD CENTURY A.D.
Each with oval box setting with beaded border inlaid with cabochon cornelian, an inverted pyramid pendant below composed of gold sphere clusters between three beaded struts with central cabochon garnet inlay, the ear loop of twisted wire; and a pair of East Roman gold and garnet earrings, each with wire ear hoop mounted with three rows of spheres terminating with tear-shaped box setting with garnet inlay, circa 2nd Century A.D.
