A LARGE PROTOCORINTHIAN SQUAT OLPE
CIRCA 650-640 B.C.
Decorated in black polychrome style, the wide funnel-shaped neck with twin rotelles at join of reeded handle, the body with encircling yellow lines between groups of three red lines, triangular rays above the ring foot, alternating groups of red, yellow and black tongues on the shoulder with dotted rosettes above, further rosettes on and between the rotelles, concentric rings on base, repaired with rim restoration
