Of oval section, the bowl has thinly carved lobed sides rising from a foot formed as a six-petalled flowerhead centred atop acanthus leaves, one end of the bowl with an acanthus-leaf handle, all worked from semi-translucent stone of milky-white tone with areas of russet inclusions
