P. Orr & Sons were manufacturers and suppliers of optical and scientific instruments, gas and electrical apparatus, diamonds, pearls, gold and silver.

Elaborate showrooms and offices, bicycle, clock, silver, instrument and jewellery workshops, a light-fittings warehouse, provisions and chemical storerooms. A few images depict Indians at work.
