AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY NAPOLEONIC FRENCH PRISONER-OF-WAR MODEL OF A 10-GUN CHASSE-MARÉE SLOOP
with masts, rigging, carved wooden sails, simple deck details including hatch covers, companionway and ten guns in carriages, the wooden hull secured by two turned bone columns to a bone inlaid wooden base with bone finials, secured to an oval ebony base with bun feet and glass dome cover. Overall measurements -- 5 x 6in. (13 x 15cm.)
