Super-chancery 2° (314 x 210mm). Roman and Greek type, woodcut opening initial, initial spaces, some with guide-letter, some deckle edges preserved. (Title repaired at margin, 4 leaves strengthened at hinge, repaired wormtrack in two quires, single wormhole in text, final quire lightly browned.) Modern half vellum. Provenance: attentively annotated throughout in an early hand -- Cenobite convent (partly erased inscription).

The only book with a Bolognese imprint carrying Jacobus de Ragazionibus's name. A reprint of the Venice 1490 edition, but with the table at the end, Brognolus's dedication refers back to the first printer of his edition (1475), Nicolaus Jenson.
