Chancery 16° (103 x 71mm). First 3 quires replaced in contemporary ms. on vellum, written in red and black, at end are further ms. prayers written on final blank and an additional 12-leaf quire, uniformly decorated in red and blue. Gothic type, printed in black and red. (Vellum ms. quires stained, first printed leaf soiled, a few marginal tears, some repaired.) Contemporary blindstamped calf (rebacked and repaired, single fore-edge clasps replacing 2 earlier ones).

FIRST AND ONLY INCUNABLE EDITION. Perfected by an earlier owner with the replacement of the calendar by one in manuscript and the insertion at the end of a quire in manuscript containing additional prayers. BMC III, 777; GW 8524.
