Printed music in the text. (Scattered light spotting, small marginal mark on 10/7r, 43/1 crudely opened causing tear touching text.) Original blue wrappers, lettered on the upper cover and spine in white (extremities a little chipped, short tears on joints and spine). Provenance: Karla von Unruh (sister of the German writers Fritz von Unruh (1885-1970) and Friedrich Franz von Unruh (1893-1986), presentation inscription on flyleaf 'To , Karla von Unruh , James Joyce , Paris , 3.iv.926 [sic]').
Seventh [and fifth Shakespeare and Company] edition. INSCRIBED BY JOYCE TO THE SISTER OF THE NOVELIST AND PLAYWRIGHT FRITZ VON UNRUH. The seventh edition of Ulysses was issued in October or December 1925 and was based on the fourth (Shakespeare and Company, January 1924, which incorporated the errata accompanying the Egoist Press's second and third editions into the text), but also contained new errata, printed as 'Additional Corrections' on pp.[733]-736.
