A Nymphenburg figure of a putto in disguise as Saturn

Modelled by F.A. Bustelli, with his head turned to the left and his shoulders twisted to the right, his loins loosely covered with a billowing yellow-lined puce robe, striding forward holding a long scythe, its blade resting by his left foot, his right foot stepping off an open book on a shaped flat mound base incised and painted with tufts of grass and edged with sweeping gilt scrolls (handle of scythe lacking, broken through base and left hip and restored, his left arm restuck, scythe blade restuck and with chip)
