A Zürich 'Turkish group'
Circa 1770, blue Z and .. mark
The Tartar in a black plumed cap, the red front with a gilt crescent, a green jacket with red cuffs over a red uniform with yellow boots, grasping the Turk's turban with his right hand, the Turk bare-chested in red striped pantaloons and yellow boots, his hands tied behind his back with cord held by the soldier, on a circular rockwork mound base (both figures broken from base and restuck, restoration to base and to their ankles and feet, slight restoration and chip to plumes of cap)
