A GREEK GOLD AND CARNELIAN NECKLACE
Hellenistic Period, Circa 3rd Century B.C.
Composed of twenty-nine ribbed tubes, six with bell-shaped pendants, eight with three smaller tubes attached forming a pyramid, interspersed with carnelian beads, the central crescent pendant ornamented with filigree spirals punctuated with single granules and clusters, a cabochon carnelian at the center
