A scrimshaw whales tooth depicting the U.S.S. Constitution**
Anonymous (American, early 20th century)
An old whales tooth with recent engraving depicting a ship portrait of the U.S.S. Constitution under full sail and viewed from the port side. Above the image of the ship is engraved "Old Ironsides", and below the ship is engraved "USS Constitution". On the other side is engraved an image of a sailor holding the American flag and Lady Liberty with the inscription "We Owe Allegiance To No Crown". Along with a piece of panbone faintly engraved with the image of a ship and American flag.
