CIRCA 1890, PRINTED ENGLAND/COALPORT A.D.1750 MARKS AND STONIER Co. 78 LORD ST LIVERPOOL RETAILER's MARK TO ONE, WITH TITLES
The first of shaped scrolled oval form, with two pierced handles, painted with a central scene of a bridge and mountains in the distance, trees and a river in the foreground, within dark-blue ground and gilt borders, signed and titled to the reverse WEIRBRIDGE; the second with a circular scene of a building in landscape before a flowing river, signed and titled to the reserve Hawthornden, within a richly-gilt gilt cartouche of tooled shell ornament, within dark-blue borders and moulded gilt rims
