The exterior covered in black canvas with chevron design, stamped in several places E.GOYARD RUE ST. HONORE PARIS, with leather bands and brass mounts to the edges, the interior lined with pale yellow cotton (stained), the side stencilled with initials L.C.

Goyard, established in 1853, has a very illustrious history as the luggage of choice for everyone from Sarah Bernhardt to Cisar Ritz and John D. Rockefeller. Still produced today in small numbers it is the most exclusive brand for luggage produced at this moment in time.
