The exterior covered in monogram canvas, the edges applied with studded black-painted iron bands, the top, base front and back with additional wooden bands, the canvas lined interior fitted with two shelves, and with label inscribed Asnieres s/Seine Louis Vuitton Paris - 1 Rue Scribe Nice - 4 Jardin Public Lille - 34 Rue Faidherbe London - 149 New Bond st. and with serial number 182366, the sides stencilled with initials A.S.
