The blade shinogi-zukuri with iori-mune, chu-gissaki and torii-zori curvature carved with futasuji-hi and bonji on the omote side and suken and bonji on the ura side; forging pattern o-mokume with a midare tempered edge with nie and sunagashi, the tip midare-komi; tang shortened with one mekugi-ana
Ito maki tachi koshirae comprising a black ishime-nuri scabbard with iron fittings with gilt highlights; the hilt with an iron tsuba and shakudo menuki decorated with family crests
