IMPRESSED AND CROWNED PUCE MONOGRAM MARK, GILT C-, RETAILER'S TRIANGULAR MARK FOR CALDWELL OF PHILADELPHIA, CIRCA 1890
The conical neck pierced with diamonds and circlets enriched in gilt and turquoise beneath a beaded band and chased rim, the circular double-walled body decorated in the Persian taste with a central rosette and radiating pierced concentric bands, the peripheral band enriched with a ribbon enamelled with turquoise and white 'jewels', the sides set with four gilt lug handles and panels of turquoise strapwork, the reverse similarly pierced with a design incorporating triangular panels, on a conforming short oblong foot
