Emblematic of 'Liberty' and 'Matrimony', he in white plumed hat, pink cloak, yellow flowered vest and turquoise breeches with a bird on his right knee, seated on a balustrade before a flowering tree, a dog seated at his feet; she in turquoise plumed cap, turquoise cape, yellow bodice, pink spotted apron and yellow chintz skirt holding a birdcage in her left hand, seated on a balustrade before a flowering tree, a lamb at her feet, both on scroll-molded bases enriched with gilt, lacking one candle arm and all four nozzles and drip pans
