the fusee movement stamped with three 'tulip' marks and 9, with four pairs of cams operating in sequence 1234, male winding arbor and bird with irridescent plumage, moving head, bone beak, wings, tail and swivelling perch, in tortoiseshell case with hinged rear key-compartment, floriate-engraved grille with scalloped edge and gilt-metal lid with raised scrollwork design -- 3½in. (9cm.) wide, the movement with repairer's (?) mark R de Gb, Nov, 1967
