A fine singing bird box by Bruguier,
the fusee movement stamped 306 and the case marked 106 306, with four pairs of cams operating in sequence 123234, male winding arbor, bird with irridescent plumage, moving head, bone beak, wings, perch and tail, in silver-gilt case with re-entrant corners, rear key-compartment and pierced grille, engraved and engine-turned on the base and all sides with flowers and foliate scrolls, the top with engraved cornucopias flanking the oval lid with enamelled exterior racing scene and floral spray on the inside -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) wide
