Lot Essay

LD: I made this guitar up, from a body we had, and the neck of another Strat. a fan had given Eric. It's a very nice guitar, it plays really well. Sounds great...however ...Eric doesn't like a rosewood neck...

KK: That's interesting ...so rosewood doesn't work?

EC: Not for me. It does feel different... Maple's fine...maybe it's an illusion, but it feels softer. Rosewood's a hard wood..

LD: Also this neck has a different profile to what Eric's used to. It's more of a C-profile as opposed to a B, but it's a lovely player.
