Five late 18th/early 19th Century English coin beam balances and weights contained in japanned metal cases,
comprising: two brass beam balances with two penny weights, the cases with green felt and silk lining; a brass beam balance with porcelain pans and five grain weights, the case with green felt and cream silk lining; a steel beam balance with two penny weights, the case with red felt and pink silk lining; and a steel beam balance stamped on one pan WT, with five penny weights, five grain weights and one 'scruple weight', the case with green felt lining, all approximately -- 12.5cm. (5in.) wide
