Painted with military and battle scenes, merchants and fortified ports within similar shaped brown and gilt cartouches with shells, scrolling foliage, diaper panels and pendant husks and tassels, with interlocking gilt scroll and trellis borders and gilt line rims, comprising: a teabowl and saucer (saucer with small restored rim chip at 8 o'clock, gilt rims extensively worn, further areas of wear); a beaker (areas of minute wear) and a teacup and saucer (saucer with some wear and a fine closed crack across centre and well, minute wear to gilt rim of cup) (3)
