A Continental porcelain large white swan centrepiece or tureen
PROBABLY CIRCA 1755-60, POSSIBLY DOCCIA
Naturally modelled with incised plumage and swimming through reeds and rushes with its webbed feet tucked up beneath its tail, its neck curved round to grip a bulrush in its mouth (majority of one foot lacking, other foot with one claw lacking and slight chipping to two other claws, minor small chip to tip of one reed, firing cracks)
