Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with outside Stephenson's link reverse with weighted way shaft and squared valve rod guides, studded stuffing boxes, flange jointed exhaust pipes, footplate controlled draincocks, mechanical lubricator, two piston rod tail shaft driven feed pumps and shut-off cocks, injector, whistle, working leaf springs, axle box lubricator boxes, wooden buffer beam lettered in white 'Paris A Strasbourg', steps and hand irons and headlamp. Tender details include hand operated brake gear, hand feed pump, water valve, level test cocks, riveting and tank filler caps, finished in green, red and polished brightwork -- 14 x 42½in.
