AN EXTREMELY RARE COLT .45 MODEL 1905 AUTOMATIC PISTOL NO. 1533 WITH ITS HOLSTER-SHOULDER STOCK
The left-hand side of the slide marked 'PATENTED APR.20.1897.SEPT.9.1902.DEC.19.1905', the right-hand side of the frame marked 'AUTOMATIC COLT CALIBRE 45 RIMLESS SMOKELESS', original Colt Logo 'Circled Colt Rampant' on left side rear, thick spur hammer, matching cut chequering, case hardened, brass firing pin, 1905 sights, Colt certified proof mark and Inspectors mark on trigger guard, '1' for John Kinnarney. 'Oil finish', charcoal blue fired, all small parts blue finish, number 1533 indicates manufactured Jan. 1907, chequered walnut grips-diamond around ferrules, frame slotted to receive its combination holster-shoulder stock (Colt records show that only 408 pistols were sold with a holster stock)
