Modelled as a young man, with ribbon-tied curly hair standing beside a pedestal surmounted by an urn and a shell, enclosing the clock movement, the base cast with a winged climbing figure holding a torch supported by fruit and flowerhead swags tied with ribbon and surmounted by butterflies, on stiff leaf-cast rectangular plinth base and foliate graduated harebell-cast bracket feet, lacking some pieces
