Edo Period, 18th/19th Century
Decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e and takamaki-e with formal sprays of kiku on a nashiji ground, comprising a four-tier stacking box, a rectangular food box, a square footed tray and large rectangular sake container, the top of the covered box and tray decorated with pavilions in a river landscape, the sides with various geometric patterns, some old wear and minor damage
