CIRCA 400-500 A.D., EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN
The dolphin eating an octopus, the octopus' legs shown emerging from its mouth underneath the lamp's nozzle, with tail bent upwards, the body with finely incised scales and large detailed eyes, a pierced suspension tang protrudes from crown of head, the nozzle later infilled
