A well-engineered vertical reversing condensing six pillar triple expansion marine engine,
built by N.C. King, with metal clad cylinders 1in., 1½in. and 1¾in. bores x 1¼in. stroke, cylinder head pressure relief valves, draincocks and pipes, main stop valve and displacement lubricator, handwheel, worm gear and lever operated Stephenson's link reverse, rear frame incorporated crosshead slides, six bearing crankshaft and disc flywheel. Other details include rear frame mounted surface condenser, LP crosshead driven air and feed pumps with appropriate pipework, finished in yellow, black, green and polished brightwork, mounted on a wooden plinth -- 25.5 x 35.5cm. (10 x 14in.)
