REEVES' FOLDING ALIDADE 40 CARY - LONDON, the 9½-inch long telescope with rack and pinion focusing, 30°-0-30° vertical scale with vernier, raised on a folding brass column with retaining clamp from the plane table rule with various scales and parallel rule, in a mahogany case -- 33cm. (13in.) wide; and a lacquered and black-enamelled brass station pointer by CARY, LONDON, the brass circle with silvered scale, twin verniers with fine-screw adjustment and clamps, and three black-enammelled arms with extensions and brass joining screws, in a brown plush-lined fitted mahogany case -- 38.5cm.
