MARKED WITH UNDERGLAZE BLUE SCEPTRE, ONE CIRCA 1800, THE OTHER WITH RED ORB ABOVE KPM AND VARIOUS NUMERAL, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Gilt and painted in colours, the border moulded in slight relief with the Alt Ozier pattern, comprising: one depicting a drinking scene of patients from the Midnight Modern Conversation by William Hogarth (1697-1764), the domed cover with scenes en suite, the finial modelled as a Bacchic putto, 32 cm. high; the other two-handled and painted with flowers, the domed cover with a putto holding a cornucopia, 29 cm. high (4)
